About Quartz Countertops
Engineered quartz combines 93% natural quartz crystals with 7% polymer resins and pigments. The result is a non-porous surface that never requires sealing—unlike natural stone. We stock select quartz varieties including some Caesarstone, plus exclusive direct-import options that offer exceptional value. Important limitations: quartz is heat-sensitive (trivets required above 300°F) and NOT suitable for outdoor installation—UV exposure causes yellowing and resin degradation. The tradeoff for these limitations: consistent color, zero maintenance, and industry-leading durability.
