About Precision Mitered Edge
The mitered edge joins two stone pieces at precisely 45 degrees, creating the illusion of a monolithic 2-3" thick countertop from standard 3/4" material. Our CNC machines cut miters using diamond tooling to achieve seamless joints. High-strength epoxy bonds the pieces invisibly—when done correctly, you cannot feel the seam. For spans exceeding 8 feet, we incorporate reinforcement rods for structural integrity. Note: mitered edges add weight; we verify cabinet capacity before proceeding.
